An established industry player is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Trade Fair team in promoting trade fairs between Germany and the UAE. This dynamic role involves utilizing various marketing tools, conducting market research, and assisting exhibitors with inquiries. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in business or marketing, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems. The AHK is part of the worldwide network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad and is tasked with the promotion of bilateral economic and business relations. This is accomplished and conducted through various customer-oriented services, events and export initiatives by the German government and other stakeholders. In addition to this, AHK is a communication and networking platform for its approximately 700 members based in the region and Germany. The AHK in Dubai has a regional responsibility for the countries Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq and Pakistan and also maintains offices in Abu Dhabi, Doha and Muscat, Baghdad and Erbil.
The Assistant Manager will support the experienced Trade Fair executives of the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK).
