Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit VAT returns, corporate tax filings, FATCA, CRS and other statutory tax reports in accordance with UAE laws and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Analyze and interpret UAE tax laws to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
  • Provide advice on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits, reviews, or inspections.
  • Stay updated on changes in UAE tax laws and regulations, including VAT, Corporate Tax, and other applicable taxes.
  • Implement changes in tax processes to align with new regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams, such as finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment on tax-related matters.
  • Identify and mitigate potential tax risks through robust controls and compliance measures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Chartered Accountant with specialization in Taxation.
  • Years of Experience: 3-5 years of experience in UAE.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of UAE Taxation laws.
