Qualifications

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Stock Audit to independently plan, coordinate and execute stock audits across warehouses, branches, project sites, customer locations and third-party storage facilities. The role will focus on ensuring inventory accuracy, identifying discrepancies, strengthening internal controls and improving inventory management processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock Audit & Inventory Verification
  • Conduct scheduled, surprise, cycle, half-yearly and year-end stock audits
  • Verify physical inventory against SAP ERP and warehouse management system records
  • Perform inventory reconciliation and investigate stock variances
  • Review stock movements, inventory adjustments and transaction accuracy
  • Monitor inventory held at warehouses, project sites, customer locations, and third-party facilities
• Discrepancy Investigation & Controls
  • Analyze stock shortages, excesses and inventory discrepancies
  • Identify root causes of inventory variances and recommend corrective actions
  • Review stock adjustment requests and ensure proper approvals and documentation
  • Investigate potential stock losses, unauthorized movements and control breaches
  • Track recurring issues and recommend process improvements
• Audit Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, financial impact and recommendations
  • Present audit findings to management and ensure timely closure of corrective actions
  • Maintain audit trackers, dashboards and supporting documentation
  • Support internal, external, and statutory audits
• Process Improvement
  • Review and enhance stock counting procedures and inventory controls
  • Work closely with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Projects and IT teams
  • Support improvements in SAP inventory processes, stock reconciliations and reporting
  • Train and guide operational teams on inventory control best practices

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CFE, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or Inventory Control certifications will be an added advantage.
• 5-8 years of experience in Stock Audit, Inventory Audit, Internal Audit, Warehouse Audit, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain Audit.
• Strong experience in conducting end-to-end inventory and warehouse audits.
• Hands‑on experience with Physical stock counts, Cycle counts, Inventory reconciliation, Warehouse operations, Inventory discrepancy investigations, Project inventory audits.
• Experience working with SAP ERP (mandatory).
• Exposure to WMS / Warehouse Management Systems such as Shiplogix or similar platforms.
• Experience auditing high-value inventory, project stock, consignment stock, customer‑held stock, and warehouse operations.
• Experience in presenting report / data to CEO and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present clear, accurate, and timely audit reports highlighting inventory discrepancies, control gaps, root causes, financial impact, and recommendations for corrective action.
