A leading company in Dubai is seeking an experienced professional in international trading documentation to manage shipping transactions and handle compliance checks. This role entails overseeing all documentation processes, ensuring alignment with banking requirements while liaising with global forwarders. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and several years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years in international trading documentation or relevant industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Transportation and Logistics.
  • Experience managing shipping transactions and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct L/C checks and manage month-end closures.
  • Handle full set of export/import documentation.
  • Liaise with forwarders for shipment status.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities :

  • To do L/C check, month end closures & delegate task among Team members
  • Handling full set of Export/Import documentation and preparing the necessary shipping documents for Bank negotiation including Invoices, Packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, etc.
  • Liaise and follow-up internally with forwarders / carriers for shipment / delivery status located all over the world.
  • Manage day-to-day shipping transaction of the Trading Companies.
  • Check Letter of Credit and ensure it is aligned with compliance.
  • Support ad hoc and any other duties as required in the department or by Shipping Manager including month end closure report tabulation.
  • Perform additional /ad-hoc duties as and when requested by the supervisor or line manager.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Preferable in Transportation and Logistic

Work Experience Required:

  • 5-7 Years of work experience in International Trading documentation or others relevant industry experience.
