Responsibilities

  • Deliver assigned KPI targets weekly, monthly, yearly.
  • Make recommendations to the DOSM for sales strategy improvements.
  • Act as the single point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Perform full account management and create proposals/contracts.
  • Keep updated knowledge of organizational structures of accounts.
  • Monitor competitor hotels' developments closely.

About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Sales Manager to join Sales & Marketing inZabeel House The Greens by Jumeirah. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

  • Deliver assigned KPI targets (weekly, monthly, yearly).
  • Make recommendations to the DOSM on necessary sales plans or strategy revision to increase production from own accounts / industry segment(s)
  • Act as the single point of contact within Zabeel House by Jumeirah the Greens for each assigned account
  • Full account management to produce groups proposal/contracts for assigned corporate and leisure accounts and geographic region(s)
  • Obtain current accurate knowledge of the organizational structure, both formal and informal, of own accounts, business and update frequently
  • Keep close follow up on developments of the competitor hotels (occupancy, structural alterations, renovation, special campaigns, rate promotions, marketing efforts, theme events etc.) Also explore and compare FIT and Group traffic (who is accommodating guests in which hotel) amongst the competitors.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Experience with Data analysis and interpretation (desirable)
  • Demonstrated successful account management (desirable)
  • Hospitality sales experience within 4* hotel industry in the Middle East
  • Strong sales and presentation skills.
