Jumeirah Group’s newest resort, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, will lead a new generation of the group’s ultra-luxury portfolio. Located at the tip of a peninsula in Dubai’s largest private beach, with design influences inspired by a futuristic superyacht, the resort will feature 303 rooms, 84 suites, and 82 serviced residences amid private landscaped gardens. It will include integrated wellness and leisure destinations and a lineup of signature restaurants, including a new concept combining 4 restaurants in 1. All rooms will offer panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, marking a new epoch for Jumeirah Group.

About the Job:

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Reservations Team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring the delivery of internal and external service, quality, and commercial performance aligned with Reservations KPI objectives.
  2. Collaborating with Sales, Revenue, and Hotel Operations teams to maximize revenue opportunities and minimize operational inefficiencies.
  3. Supervising and ensuring the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks related to reservations, audits, revenue, compliance, finance, visas, and group bookings.
  4. Identifying and escalating risks related to revenue, finance, and guest experience to senior management for proactive resolution.
  5. Monitoring and resolving guest complaints promptly by coordinating with relevant departments to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
  6. Keeping the department updated with property information, service offerings, new rates, and selling strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
  7. Motivating, managing, and developing the reservations team to achieve high service levels and operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in 5-star luxury hospitality.
  • Effective communication skills (email, telephone, listening, writing, verbal).
  • Fluent in English.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and processes.
  • Excellent time management and adherence to schedules.
  • Customer Relationship Management skills.
  • Initiative: identifying issues or areas for improvement and taking ownership to resolve them.
