Assistant Manager – Product Development – Islamic Banking - Dubai
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct basic market research to help identify customer needs and emerging market trends.
- Assist in creating and maintaining product documentation such as concept notes, feature specifications, and product briefs.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Legal, Finance, Sharia, Operations) to gather inputs and ensure timely progress on product development initiatives.
- Support the preparation of presentations and reports related to product performance and pipeline updates.
- Assist in collecting data for pricing benchmarks and help draft pricing proposals for review.
- Ensure all compliance documentation is completed under the guidance of senior team members.
- Track tasks and timelines across product development initiatives and maintain trackers and MIS reports.
- Support the testing and rollout of new products, ensuring feedback loops are properly documented.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the Head of Product Development and Product Managers.
- Help schedule meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in product development, financial services, or a related support function.
- Must have worked in a Sharia Compliant environment
- Exposure to banking, insurance, or investment products is a plus.
