Assistant Manager - Policies Management

Job summary

DIB seeks an experienced policy professional to develop, document, optimize and revise policies across bank units. You will ensure controls, risk management and compliance align with regulatory requirements while driving operational efficiency.

You will liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, draft policies, review feedback, and publish final documents, ensuring timely approvals and alignment with management's guidance.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with stakeholder to develop and document Policies in accordance with the organization’s standards.
• Gather and analyze requirements and draft Policies in line with internal and external policies and risk management framework of the bank.
• Correspond with Stakeholders and follow-up to receive review/feedback on a timely basis.
• Provide responses to review comments and incorporate changes to the document wherever agreed by process owner/stakeholders.
• Represent unit in assigned initiatives to gather requirements for developing Policy document, which is in line with the changes/improvements approved by management.
• Review assigned documents developed by other members of the unit to ensure they are in line with applicable controls, polices and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure developed Policies are duly reviewed and approved by appropriate authorities and are published
• Play active role in New Product/Proposal/Projects development & maintain effective communication with all internal and external stake holders in conducting UAT & feedback on projects implementation.
• Ensure compliance with the approved policies, procedures, SLAs and regulatory requirements to maintain quality standards and ensure risk mitigation.
• Ensure all assigned tasks and projects are executed within the approved policies, procedures and SLAs of the department.
• All the above accountabilities includes but not limited to any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the line Manager.

Education

Graduate (Preferably Business Management, Banking, Finance)

Education

Graduate (Preferably Business Management, Banking, Finance)

Work Experience

Minimum 4- 6 years in Banking / Finance / Consulting
