Job description

Job Purpose:

Develop and implement operational efficiency projects within Emirates Flight Catering Co LLC in line with best practice to optimise throughput and generate sustained efficiency gains.

Key Results Area:

  1. Identify and implement process improvements and new procedures to enhance efficiencies and reduce expenses.
  2. Drive measurable improvements in quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency by successfully implementing process improvement methodologies, resulting in optimized resource utilization and enhanced business performance.
  3. Actively contribute to LEAN processes and operational changes, leading to a significant reduction in manual efforts, defects, and inefficiencies, ultimately improving workflow automation and enhancing overall operational performance.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key improvement areas and develop actionable plans, resulting in increased efficiency, streamlined operations, and measurable business growth.
  5. Develop, monitor, and report key operational metrics to accurately assess the effectiveness of ongoing projects, driving data-informed decisions that enhance project performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  6. Provide analytical support to enhance business efficiency and decision-making processes, resulting in optimized resource allocation, streamlined operations, and improved overall performance.
  7. Execute LEAN initiatives and best practices to optimize processes, driving operational efficiency while engaging stakeholders in continuous improvement efforts that result in sustained performance enhancements.
  8. Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental management policies, leading to a safer workplace, minimized risks, and improved regulatory adherence that enhances overall operational integrity.
  9. Support stakeholders in establishing baseline and target metrics for key processes using data analytics and intelligence, resulting in clear performance benchmarks and actionable insights that drive strategic improvements.

Education Qualification:

• University Graduate (preferably in Industrial Engineering or Lean Manufacturing Background)

• PMP/ Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.

Work Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in a Performance Improvement/ Operations Efficiency role

• Experience in the catering/hospitality/manufacturing industry is desirable

Skills:

• Strong project management/organizational skills, the ability to manage demanding priorities

• Strong Influencing skills

• Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies and be adept at assessing complex processes to identify potential areas for optimised throughput

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply judgment to provide efficient and effective solutions

• A self-starter that is able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels throughout the organisation

• Ability to work to the highest ethical standards and ability to work independently
