An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager- Marine & Environmental to join the Sports & Leisure in Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Responsibilities
  • Supporting turtle rehabilitation, ethical energy and lead the sustainability, green initiatives & awards winning practices throughout the resort
  • Conduct regular sustainability audits and follow up closely with all concerned teams.
  • Provide constant feedback and suggestions on the sustainability practices within the resort.
  • Work closely with local environmental agencies and local authorities.
  • Be active in the community and conduct necessary schools field visits and sustainability sessions.
  • Lead turtle patrolling initiatives on the island throughout the nesting season.
  • Work closely with Sports & Leisure team to ensure appropriate activities are being carried out.
  • Supervise the sports and leisure colleagues in the absence of the sports and leisure manager.
