A leading retail company in the GCC is seeking an IT Manager to oversee the implementation of IT projects and manage the IT infrastructure for hotels and restaurants. The role includes vendor management, ensuring compliance with IT security policies, and leading a team towards excellence in service delivery. · Implementation of IT projects for hotels and restaurants.
· Manage all IT vendors for hotels and restaurants.
· Support related to FMC applications.
· Monitor security compliance according to IT policies and procedures.
· Infrastructure management – Ensure all IT services are operational 24x7, with data center equipment, servers, storage, backup, and network devices functioning continuously.
· License compliance – Audit and identify software licensing gaps and work towards compliance.
· Administer and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP servers within the office network infrastructure using Windows servers.
· Administer and manage Avaya PABX systems, contact center applications, and IP phones.
· Manage internet lines, leased lines, and telephone lines with ISPs.
· Oversee and handle escalations of all IT issues, providing suitable resolutions to end users.
· Attend to L3 level helpdesk calls and update end users accordingly.
· Monitor IT-related issues, risk profiles, and developments, providing input for planning sessions.
· Provide practical, innovative, and value-added solutions to identified issues.
· Ensure completion and submission of all business-related reports to respective authorities.
· Maintain and prepare IT budgets, manage AMC agreements and contracts.
· Assist with internal and external IT audits.
· Lead by example and serve as a role model for direct reports.
· Encourage open and honest feedback from team members and follow up as necessary.
· Assist the unit manager with grievance handling and disciplinary actions.
· Ensure skill development of staff and identify future talent potential.
· Set KRAs for direct reports and conduct performance appraisals as per schedule.
· Oversee staff deployment and motivate team members.
· Lead team-building and customer care initiatives.
