We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager - Human Resources to serve as a Business Partner for the Clinics vertical of Aster DM Healthcare in Bahrain. This role involves managing business partnering activities across Aster clinics in Bahrain, supporting manpower planning, HR operations, talent and reward programs, and driving strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong decision-making skills, with a deep understanding of employee relations, staffing, and training.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Manpower Planning
  • Develop workforce supply and demand plans
  • Supervise and participate in the recruitment process
Policies & Procedures
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, recommending improvements as needed
  • Cover areas such as employee relations, compensation, payroll, benefits, talent development, and management
Digitization HR Projects
  • Support digitization initiatives across the vertical and communicate changes to the business
  • Ensure HR processes like Talent Acquisition, Performance, Learning, Payroll, and Rewards are managed through ERP systems
Employee Engagement
  • Assist in developing and executing recognition and engagement programs
  • Support day-to-day employee programs and engagement activities aligned with business objectives
  • Promote various HR programs and campaigns
Employee Relations and Support
  • Provide HR support related to employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Advise management and employees on HR functions including talent acquisition, retention, performance, and development
Performance, Talent & Reward Management
  • Foster a goal-setting and feedback culture
  • Administer performance appraisals and track progress
  • Manage probationary and renewal appraisals
  • Develop reward and retention strategies
  • Report on performance management metrics
  • Establish fair promotion policies and identify high performers for career advancement
Experience & Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field (essential)
  • 4-5 years of HR Operations experience
  • Knowledge of Labor Law and employment regulations
  • Strong HR administration and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
