Job Summary
The HR Generalist provides HR support in the following areas: HR Talent Acquisition: Recruitment & Selection, On-boarding of New Hires, Employee engagement, and other HR support (Exit Interview management, HR Reporting)
Area of Responsibility:
Recruiting / Talent Selection (60%):
- Manage the end to end recruiting process including obtaining HC approval, Job postings, sending our weekly career opportunity notices to employees, promoting the employee referral program as a key source of hire, screening candidates, participating in the interview and maintaining candidate pool
- Prepare offer letters for selected candidates and ensure the Background check process is completed prior to hire
- Maintain accurate documentation on all requisitions and candidates and maintain accurate reporting of all recruiting related activities and metrics
- Collect all New Hire information, documentations, pre-boarding engagements
- When it is necessary to engage a search firm, manage the process and relationship with the search firm
- Respond to inquiries from leaders and employees regarding recruiting related policies and processes
On-boarding (10%):
- On-board new hires. This includes conducting HR orientation and educating managers on the process of effectively on-boarding new joiner through Orientation program, On the Job Training (OJT), open communication, mentoring programs, etc.
Employee Connect (10%):
- Work with leaders and employees to effectively manage employee relations issues as they arise through effective facilitation and candid communication with leaders and employees
- Support and participate in developing action plans based on the results of the survey
Other HR Support (20%):
- Analyze Exit interviews and HR metrics on employee turnover and develop programs to identify flight risks in advance and improve employee retention
- Support HR projects and programs, such as Employee engagement survey, LG way surveys, assessments, etc.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual HR reports (Talent Acquisition)
- Update and maintain organization charts on a monthly basis
Qualifications& Requirements (Check Essential/Preference)
- 5-7 years of relevant HR experience is required
- University or College degree/diploma in HR
- Demonstrated ability handling one or more specialised portfolios within HR (Talent Acquisition)
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills: MS office, Excel and PowerPoint are required
- Good written and verbal communication in Korean and English language
- Excellent organization skills and a proven ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
- A creative problem solver with sound analytical skills and sound judgment
- Adaptability, flexibility & resilience. Ability to work in a constantly changing environmentStrong analytical capabilities
- Strong advanced Excel, Power point skills.
