Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate recruitment processes for specialized oil and gas positions, ensuring a talent pool that meets project demands.
  2. Develop and implement HR policies tailored to the unique challenges of the construction industry, promoting safety and efficiency.
  3. Oversee employee onboarding and training programs, with a focus on compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  4. Manage employee relations, addressing conflicts and fostering a collaborative work environment across diverse teams.
  5. Monitor workforce performance metrics and provide insights to senior management to drive continuous improvement.
  6. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations specific to the oil and gas sector, mitigating legal risks.
  7. Facilitate succession planning and career development initiatives, aligning employee goals with organizational objectives.
  8. Assist in payroll administration and benefits management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing.
  9. Collaborate with project managers to forecast staffing needs based on project timelines and budgets.
  10. Conduct regular training sessions on safety protocols and industry best practices to enhance workforce competency.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  2. Minimum 10-12 years of HR experience in the oil and gas construction sector, demonstrating industry-specific knowledge.
  3. Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) to validate expertise in human resource management.
  4. Proficiency in HR software and tools, with a keen understanding of data analytics for workforce planning.
