Job description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate recruitment processes for specialized oil and gas positions, ensuring a talent pool that meets project demands.
- Develop and implement HR policies tailored to the unique challenges of the construction industry, promoting safety and efficiency.
- Oversee employee onboarding and training programs, with a focus on compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Manage employee relations, addressing conflicts and fostering a collaborative work environment across diverse teams.
- Monitor workforce performance metrics and provide insights to senior management to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations specific to the oil and gas sector, mitigating legal risks.
- Facilitate succession planning and career development initiatives, aligning employee goals with organizational objectives.
- Assist in payroll administration and benefits management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing.
- Collaborate with project managers to forecast staffing needs based on project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct regular training sessions on safety protocols and industry best practices to enhance workforce competency.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10-12 years of HR experience in the oil and gas construction sector, demonstrating industry-specific knowledge.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) to validate expertise in human resource management.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools, with a keen understanding of data analytics for workforce planning.
