The Assistant Manager – Housing Operations supports the daily management and smooth functioning of Wynn Al Marjan Island’s large-scale staff accommodation facilities. This role assists in ensuring a high standard of living for over 9,000 residents by overseeing key operational areas such as housekeeping, maintenance, and resident services. The Assistant Manager also plays a vital role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive community through event coordination and resident engagement
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily housing operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, front desk, and transportation services
- Assist in planning and executing resident events, wellness programs, and cultural celebrations to enhance community engagement
- Address resident concerns and service requests with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with brand standards
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Facilities, Security, and HR to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor room assignments, move-in/move-out processes, and occupancy levels to support efficient space utilization
- Maintain accurate records for inventory, maintenance requests, and resident feedback
- Supervise and support front-line staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to service standards
- Assist in emergency preparedness and response procedures
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful living environment for all residents
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred
- 1–2 years of supervisory or team lead experience in housing, hospitality, or facility operations
- Experience in managing residential facilities or large-scale accommodations is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with housing/property management systems is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
