About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager - Front Office in Jumeirah Al Qasr. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
  1. Oversee smooth and courteous delivery of all Front Office services, resolving guest complaints in line with established guidelines and maintaining high service standards.
  2. Manage daily Front Office operations by guiding the team, fostering teamwork, reviewing departmental performance, and ensuring effective internal communication.
  3. Implement upselling strategies and support revenue optimization through effective rate and room management while maintaining alignment with credit and finance policies.
  4. Maintain operational excellence by attending briefings, monitoring input standards, assisting with check-ins, ensuring lobby cleanliness, and coordinating with relevant departments for smooth guest experiences.
  5. Undertake duty management shifts as required and assume responsibility in the absence of senior management in all matters concerning the safety, security and well-being of hotel guests to effectively handle and resolve any guest issue and maintain operations at the required quality level.
  6. Drive compliance with quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing and implementing process enhancements.

About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role within a 5-star resort.
  2. Excellent knowledge of Opera, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with front office systems.
  3. International experience is essential; experience in the Middle East is desirable.
  4. Fluent in English and an international language.
