Job Description
- Analyze financial results, monitor P&L variances, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Assist the Sr. Manager - Financial Analysis in preparing reports on financial risks, ROI assessments, and management decisions.
- Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and due diligence reports for new projects, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of process improvement and policy initiatives to ensure sustainability and alignment with organizational goals.
- Design and maintain detailed financial models, benchmarking studies, and process analyses.
- Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, forecasts, income statements) for monthly reviews.
- Prepare industry trend reports to aid management in maintaining competitive positioning.
- Assess the financial impact of operational decisions and recommend actions.
- Create presentation decks and reports on business performance and project statuses.
- Lead cost structure evaluations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Drive process improvements in FP&A functions to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Serve as a financial advisor to cross-functional teams, providing strategic insights.
- Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate business and operational performance.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process ensuring strategic alignment.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to support financial initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA/CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably in fintech.
- Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Experience with feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and risk assessment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
- Experience working in dynamic, cross-functional, and possibly multinational teams.
- Understanding of business operations, financial planning, and performance measurement.
- Willing to travel to West Africa - Guinea as required.
