Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Assistant Manager - Finance Excellence (Performance) at Dubai Holding Group Services. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and map R2R processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement areas
  • Standardize and document key accounting close processes across entities
  • Track R2R KPIs (e.g., close timelines, reconciliation status, journal accuracy)
  • Perform root cause analysis on performance gaps and drive corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, controls, and audit requirements
  • Collaborate with shared services, Tower Leads, and retained finance teams
  • Support R2R-related automation, system upgrades, and transformation initiatives
  • Conduct UAT testing and maintain project documentation
  • Update SOPs and promote best practice sharing across finance teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement culture within R2R operations

About You:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CA/CPA/CMA/MBA preferred
  • Experience: 4–6 years in Record to Report, Finance Operations, or Shared Services, with proven involvement in process improvement and KPI tracking

Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of GL accounting, journal entries, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and reconciliations

Analytics & Reporting: Ability to interpret complex financial data, drive actionable insights, and automate performance reporting

Certifications (Preferred): Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement credentials
