Job summary

A leading company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Finance Manager with extensive experience in financial reporting and budgeting. The successful candidate will oversee all financial operations, ensure compliance with HSE and Information Security policies, and contribute to quality procedures in line with ISO 9001-2015. This role requires strong leadership and a professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA, along with proficiency in financial software like SAP.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7-10 years in finance, 3-5 in managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and audit management.

Job description

About this role:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present all financial reports i.e., Balance Sheet, P&L, Income Statements, Manage & Supervise all schedules for financials reports, Provision (Doubtful debts, , Taxes and Levy), & Project Cost Allocation Statements.
  • Financial Planning & Budgeting: Preparation of Overhead Budget, Project Budget, Labour Cost statement, Statistical Data Analysis, and preparation of Cash Flow statements.
  • Liaising with all Financial and Tax auditors, arrange information/statements etc. in coordination with accounts staff and meet requirements of auditors.
  • Supervise and manage letter of Guarantee and letter of credit related works.
  • Supervise Receivable Related accounts process -Invoice (Follow up and liaise for Collection, and other related issues) and booking.
  • Assist in Financing- Securing Loan, Project, and General banking facilities.
  • Plan, Control & Monitor- Banks & Loan, Taxes Related Issues for all Companies.
  • Financial analysis: ERP Related Maintenance & Control Activities - Module - Management, Periodical Transfers, Closing, Report Flaws, Upgrade Request.
  • Developing quality procedures and exercising proper implementation of ISO 9001-2015 guidelines within the department.
  • Interacts with CEO & HR and other Department Managers and personnel at various level frequently.
  • Interaction with Banks, Auditors, Subcontractors Suppliers and Consultant.
  • Sustain the confidentially of the documents.
  • Maintain healthy & safe environment at the workplace.
  • Follow the rules and regulation according to the company policy..

Occupational and workplace Health and Safety responsibilities:

In addition to all job-specific responsibilities, all employees are required to adhere to all Basatin health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, practices, and relevant legal and statutory health, safety and environmental requirements and obligations. All employees are personally responsible to familiarize themselves with these policies, procedures, practices, updates, etc. Khidmah HSE department regularly updates existing and introduce new policies, procedures, and practices and each employee is personally responsible to ensure they stay updated and compliant with all such updates and new additions.

Information Security responsibilities:

  • Comply with Basatin Information Security Policies
  • Be aware of and fulfil their information security responsibilities
  • Ensure whoever handles sensitive company information have taken the Security Awareness Training
  • Know how to report a security incident (to IT ServiceDesk or InfoSec).
  • Not Disable his/her OS firewall and/or Antivirus
  • Restrict use to authorized purposes, Protect access accounts, privileges and associated passwords.
  • Accept accountability of his/her individual user accounts, and maintain confidentiality

Qualifications:

  • Professional qualification such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, financial reporting, and audit management.
  • Experience in the construction or maintenance industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other financial software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
