Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Assistant Manager - Events Operations at Global Village. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

Key Responsibilities

• Events Operations Assistant Manager will act as the projects’ operations lead, managing all aspects of execution and delivery of the projects he/she handle, and ensuring successful events and activations in line with Global Village’s guidelines and processes.
• Managing the setup, operations, logistics, and flow of Global Village’s events and activations.
• Managing suppliers and coordinating with them from concept design phase until setup and execution.
• Ensuring suppliers are adhering to Global Village’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) guidelines at all times, and all deliverables are as per the approved plan and according to the set timelines.
• Ensuring suppliers for all projects, setup and activations obtain required Permit to Work (PTW) documents and are abiding to Global Village’s rules and regulations.
• Ensuring suppliers submission of all required third party certifications and government approvals for any related setup/activations.
• Ensuring the Global Village procurement’s policies are applied for all events and sourcing exercises.
• Liaising between Global Village and external agencies/suppliers for meeting timelines and ensuring smooth flow of events and activations.
• Supervising the flow of the events from operations perspective and spotting any errors that may occur for rectifications.
• Reporting operations of all events and activations prior, during and after they take place.

About you:

The preferred candidate for this role should possess the following experience and credentials:

• Bachelor/Diploma Degree in Events Management is added value.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in events and operations management.
• Managing external agencies and suppliers
• Solid knowledge of HSE standards for outdoor mass events
