Job summary

A leading company in the UAE seeks a Sales Executive for its Events & Festivals department. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets and developing client relationships while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. Qualifications

  • Proficient in MS Office and software relevant to sales.

Job description

  • Achieve and exceed revenue and other set KPI targets in Events & Festivals department by developing and upselling to the existing accounts and securing new accounts in line with the sales strategy across all revenue segments
  • Actively identify and convert leads, continuously research market trends along with competitor activity, as well as new opportunities and partnerships, consistently grow client database, share input in the development of the sales strategy - to retain and grow DWTC share in Events & Festival segments
  • Cascading event details on time to respective delivery departments to meet clients expectations
  • Consolidate event feedback, ensure action if required and keep the record for future events
  • Remain responsible for the financial closure of the events and adhering to all audit requirements to ensure compliance
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and business ethic codes to reflect company values and image
  • Operate within established level of administrative responsibility with regards to sales to ensure efficiency and compliance, including preparation of reports and delivery of any projects assigned by the Line Manager
  • The role will require engagement for flexible hours and days, based on operational requirements
  • The job involves both off-site sales and meetings as well as administrative work

Formal Education

  • Degree from a reputable Institution or diploma in Sales
  • MBA Preferred

Work Experience

At least 3 years experience in Sales mid-senior role, preferably in Event Management industry

Skills & Knowledge

  • Superior sales and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent IT skills: MS Office, others
  • Fluent written/spoken English and Arabic
  • Valid UAE driving license and own a vehicle
