Assistant Manager Customer Facing Supply Chain

Position Summary
To be the immediate face of Nestlé within a Customer's Supply Chain location, responsible for maximizing service and enhancing the day-to-day effectiveness of operations through efficient management of inventory and in-stock availability.

To build trust with the Customer to enable deeper engagement and accelerate business improvements.

A Day in the Life

Ensure product availability on shelves by:

  • Collaborating closely with the Customer to understand their operations and supply chain to shelf.
  • Communicating and resolving out-of-stock & availability issues at stores and distribution centers.
  • Reviewing progress of the agreed KPI scorecard at defined frequencies (e.g., Monthly/Quarterly) with the Customer and Nestlé line managers.

Ensure an efficient, timely, and smooth flow of automated orders received by Nestlé by:

  • Ensuring regular master data cleanup and timely listing and delisting of SKUs (phase in/phase out).
  • Proactively updating barcodes in the Customer's database.

Maintain Customer forecast accuracy on Nestlé SKUs and work towards improvement by:

  • Reviewing demand deviations and re-forecasting as needed using sales and historical trend data.
  • Communicating and working closely with Demand Planners.
  • Organizing and chairing key meetings, challenging assumptions, and ensuring agreement on initial forecasts and communication to all involved parties.
What Will Make You Successful
  • 2-4 years of experience in Supply Chain functions.
  • Exposure within Sales and/or Retail Accounts is beneficial.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel.
