Job summary

NEP Group Inc. is hiring for an Equipment Planning professional to oversee the Equipment Planning Team, aligning with engineering and project requirements, and ensuring timely procurement, rentals, and asset availability for live productions in Dubai.

You will coordinate with Technical Managers, Warehouse, and Sales, forecast demand, monitor progress, and drive process improvements while maintaining cost efficiency and compliance with project timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in materials planning or inventory management.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan and organize work tasks in a systematic way.
• Proven capability to manage multiple areas of knowledge in broadcasting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Equipment Planning Team, ensuring alignment with engineering and project requirements.
• Work closely with Technical Managers to communicate equipment scope, needs, purchases, sub-rentals, and service requirements.
• Manage procurement and rentals of external resources for cost efficiency and timely delivery.
• Forecast demand, track availability, and coordinate with Engineering and Warehouse to meet deadlines.
• Monitor progress, prioritize tasks, and adjust team assignments as needed.
• Support purchasing strategies including vendor sourcing and cost management.
• Collaborate with Warehouse for accurate preparation and shipment of deliverables.
• Update equipment availability records to support Logistics, Engineering, and Sales.
• Communicate with Sales on hire inquiries and advise on feasibility.
• Liaise with Technical Managers to address change requests and inform teams.
• Assist in budget planning for procurement, maintenance and lifecycle management.
• Develop process improvements to enhance planning efficiency.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Warehouse, Logistics, and Sales.

Requirements:

• 1. Minimum 5 years' experience in materials planning or inventory management is essential.
• 2. Effective Interpersonal skills.
• 3. Ability to plan and organize work tasks in a systematic way.
• 4. Leadership skills is a must.
• 5. Composed and ability to manage work activities in a fast-paced environment.
• 6. Demonstrate flexibility in work arrangement and ability to prioritize.
• 7. Competent and being able to manage at least two (2) areas of job knowledge with grasp of the various broadcasting equipment / components.
• 8. Meticulous and eye for details.
