Job description

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Asset Management Solution team, part of the KPMG Advisory. Our group supports government, infrastructure, and asset-intensive clients with complex challenges. We work on projects across private and public sectors, including finance and infrastructure portfolios in Transport, Power & Utilities, Defence, Oil and Gas. This fast-growing area offers many opportunities, building upon a global capability in Asset Management, providing:

  • Operating Model Design and Business Transformation
  • Strategic asset investment planning, including business plan support
  • Efficiency programmes covering capital and operating expenditure
  • Asset and portfolio resilience support, including maintenance planning
  • Compliance with asset accounting standards and regulations
  • Internal assurance and peer review of key business processes
  • Investor assurance of asset performance and transaction due diligence support

The Role

We are hiring Assistant Managers to contribute to client workstreams, support business development, and help our team grow. Your contributions will include:

Project Delivery

  • Develop solutions and collaborate across levels within KPMG and client organizations
  • Produce high-quality, client-ready deliverables
  • Own workstreams within engagements or contribute to larger projects, working closely with leads
  • Communicate effectively with clients and represent KPMG professionally

Team Contribution

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team environment
  • Assist in generating proposals and bid documents for business development
  • Support continuous learning and stay updated with industry best practices

The Person

We seek proactive professionals capable of working efficiently and delivering quality outputs. Candidates should handle ambiguity, structure their thoughts, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience with Enterprise Asset Management systems implementation or upgrade
  • Experience in asset-intensive sectors, improving operations using established methodologies
  • ISO 55000 knowledge and/or certification from the Institute of Asset Management or equivalent
  • High drive, ambition, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Energy and motivation to impact engagements positively
  • Collaborative and inclusive team player
  • Comfort with ambiguity and changing demands
  • Understanding of business operations challenges in Telecoms, Transport, Power & Utilities, Defence, Oil and Gas
  • Risk assessment skills at business and asset portfolio levels
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • A relevant degree, first-class preferred
