Overview

The Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance will manage financial planning, reporting, and compliance for our e-commerce business. Responsibilities include revenue tracking, payment gateway reconciliation, cost control, and taxation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting & Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records, general ledger, and expense tracking; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS, or local laws); assist in audits; ensure timely tax filings (VAT, corporate tax).
  • Revenue & Payment Reconciliation: Manage payment gateway reconciliations; reconcile COD payments; track refunds, chargebacks, and disputes.
  • Process Automation & Technology Integration: Collaborate with ERP systems (Oracle) and e-commerce platforms; implement automation for reporting; work with tech teams for real-time data analysis.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
  • Qualified CA.
  • 3-6 years of experience in finance, accounting, or e-commerce finance.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Experience with payment gateway reconciliation and marketplace settlements.
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of e-commerce KPIs (ROAS, LTV, AOV, CAC, GMV).
  • Understanding of VAT and e-commerce taxation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
