Machine Operator Job Description

The role involves various responsibilities to ensure efficient machine operation and production quality:

1. Machine Setup: Assist in setting up machines before production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper tooling is in place.
2. Machine Operation: Operate machinery according to established procedures, guidelines, and safety protocols. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments in consultation with the Lead Operator or Production Incharge.
3. Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Report any defects or issues immediately to the Lead Operator or Production Incharge.
4. Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts. Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs when needed.
5. Material Handling: Handle raw materials and finished products, including loading, unloading, moving products between workstations, and maintaining inventory levels.
6. Safety: Follow all safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
7. Documentation: Maintain records of production activities, machine settings, and quality checks. Complete production reports as necessary.
8. Communication: Communicate effectively with the Lead Operator, Production Incharge, and team members to ensure smooth production processes.
9. Training: Participate in training programs to improve machine operation skills and knowledge of production processes.
