Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Legal Counsel to join our team at Asico real estate LLC, a leading property management company. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in real estate law, lease agreements, and property dispute resolution. You will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance across all aspects of our property portfolio and providing strategic legal guidance on our operations and transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Draft, review, and negotiate leases, tenancy agreements, and other real estate-related contracts.
  • Advise on property acquisitions, sales, development, and management operations.
  • Handle legal issues related to landlord-tenant disputes, evictions, and non-payment matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable real estate, housing, zoning, and municipal laws.
  • Liaise with external legal counsel when needed and manage legal proceedings and litigation.
  • Support internal departments with legal interpretations and implications of ongoing operations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and advise management on legal risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain legal records and ensure proper documentation of all agreements and legal activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); a Master's degree or specialization in Real Estate Law is a plus.
