About the job

The Assistant Income Auditor is responsible for assisting the Income Auditor in examining and verifying financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves daily revenue audits, preparation of audit reports, and coordination with other departments to resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting daily revenue audits and ensure all revenue is recorded accurately.
  • Verify and reconcile daily sales reports and deposits.
  • Prepare and distribute daily and monthly revenue audit reports.
  • Coordinate with other departments to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and organized records of all income-related transactions.
  • Support the Income Auditor in preparing for internal and external audits.
  • Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in auditing or accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel and OPERA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
