Assistant HV Technician

The Assistant HV Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of high-voltage (HV) equipment within the DEWA VI Plant. This role assists in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and auxiliary equipment while adhering to grid regulations and safety standards.

The Assistant HV Technician will report directly to the Senior HV Engineer and work as part of the HV Substation Team. In addition to HV substation operations, this role will support other functional units, ensuring a multi-skilled workforce across departments such as the Inverter and DC Team, Tracker & Cleaning System Team, and Monitoring and Controlling Team.

Minimum Requirements

1. Education: Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
2. Certification in HV Switching Operations or Protection Systems is an advantage.
