Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will support the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards, and leading a team of housekeeping staff in our luxury hospitality setting.


  1. Assist in managing daily housekeeping operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
  2. Support the development and implementation of housekeeping policies and procedures
  3. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards
  4. Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
  6. Manage guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping services
  7. Assist in budgeting and cost control measures for the housekeeping department
  8. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as UAE labor laws
  9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance housekeeping efficiency and guest experience

Qualifications

  1. Previous Housekeeping management experience, in a similar role is essential, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting
  2. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  5. Guest focused with a passion for service and standards excellence
  6. Proficiency in housekeeping management software
  7. In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and hospitality industry standards
  8. Relevant housekeeping or hospitality certifications are a plus
  9. Must be able to work well under pressure in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
  10. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage
