About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to join our Guest Relations Team at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

1. Present a professional and welcoming demeanor to arriving customers, efficiently allocate and seat guests, and ensure a full understanding of the sequence of service standards.
2. Manage customer complaints and feedback calmly and professionally, gather all relevant information, and communicate issues to management.
3. Manage the booking system to optimize reservations, maximize covers, and ensure efficient operation of the restaurant.
4. Have comprehensive knowledge of all products, confidently describe them to customers, and take orders accurately by asking relevant questions.
5. Handle function bookings, liaise with Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams and clients to ensure seamless and well-planned events.

About you:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar position in a 5 Star Luxury Hospitality
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong knowledge on Opera system
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and processes
