Job Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Assistant General Accountant to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals to gain practical experience in core accounting functions and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

You will support our finance team in a variety of accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. On-the-job training will be provided, making this a great first step for individuals aiming to build a career in accounting or finance.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist in preparing journal entries and maintaining the general ledger.
  • Support account reconciliations and help resolve discrepancies.
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes.
  • Aid in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with company accounting policies and standards.
  • Provide administrative and documentation support during audits.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
  • Learn and support intercompany accounting processes, as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles such as GAAP or IFRS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel ; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet assigned deadlines.
