Assistant Front Office Manager

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Front Office Manager to join the Traders Hotel family. The selected candidate shall be the face of the hotel with a pleasing personality to welcome, assist, and ensure guest experiences are cared for.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree from an accredited university in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role in an upscale hotel
  • Good understanding of Property Management Systems
  • Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business demands
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills with fluency in English
  • Proven organizational skills, able to set and meet deadlines

What will you do?

  1. Oversee and supervise the operations of the Front Desk, Guest Services, Bell, Door, Concierge, and Night Audit
  2. Ensure adherence to all Front Office Policies and Procedures
  3. Ensure VIP procedures are met or exceeded daily for all guests
  4. Coordinate the arrival, stay, and departure experiences for all guests
  5. Understand and promote the hotel's and departmental vision
  6. Provide guidance and support to Guest Relations Managers, Front Office Supervisors, and Ambassadors in their daily tasks
  7. Ensure the Front Office team has the necessary supplies to perform their duties
  8. Maintain consistency in exceeding guest service expectations
  9. Promote the hotel's guest loyalty program to energize the brand
  10. Ensure cash handling and credit policies/procedures are followed
  11. Maintain a high standard of professionalism among Front Office colleagues
  12. Empathetically listen to client queries/complaints and work with colleagues to find solutions
