Job Description

As the Assistant Front Office Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of Front Office operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience while maintaining high standards of service delivery. In this leadership role, you will oversee guest arrivals and departures, manage team performance, and serve as a key contact for VIPs, escalated guest concerns, and interdepartmental coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in leading all aspects of the Front Office including Reception, Bell Desk, Concierge, and Ciel Connect.

  • Ensure smooth operations of guest check-ins/outs, room assignments, and lobby management.

  • Handle guest complaints and feedback with prompt service recovery and follow-up.

  • Monitor daily room availability, upgrades, and overbooking situations in coordination with Revenue and Rooms Control.

  • Support the Front Office Manager in scheduling, team development, coaching, and performance evaluations.

  • Ensure all team members deliver warm, professional, and brand-aligned service at every interaction.

  • Conduct lobby walks and room inspections for VIPs, special occasions, and high-profile stays.

  • Maintain strong coordination with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Guest Experience teams.

  • Ensure all departmental SOPs and LQA/Forbes standards are upheld.

  • Prepare shift reports, handle escalations, and assist with training new team members.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Front Office operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role in a luxury hotel.

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management.

  • Strong knowledge of Opera Cloud and front office procedures.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and guest service skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
