Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a seasoned finance professional to lead accounting and financial reporting. You will oversee month-end closing and IFRS-compliant revenue recognition, driving project profitability and cost control across complex contracts.

The candidate should hold CA/ACCA/ICWA with 5+ years’ experience in contracting, construction, or manufacturing, and be proficient with Oracle Financials and ERP processes.

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA/ICWA with 5+ years of experience in contracting/construction or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS revenue recognition and month-end closing.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Financials) and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead Month-End Closing (GL, accruals, reconciliations, trial balance finalisation)
• Prepare MIS & Financial Reporting (P&L finalisation, project cost/profitability reports, variance analysis)
• Lead project-wise cost control through regular revision of cost to complete, review of WIP, Provisions, variations, etc
• Finalise revenue recognition as per IFRS with knowledge of the standard industry process (IPA - to invoice)
• Lead day-to-day operations (Accounts payable function, subcontractor invoices vetting, procurement coordination)
• Knowledge of ERP & Systems (Oracle Financials, chart of accounts, process improvements)
• Compliance & Audit (VAT, IFRS, external audit support)

• Positioned for a CA, ACCA, ICWA with at least 5 years of experience, preferably in the contracting/construction or manufacturing industry.
