Based at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai, the Assistant F&B Revenue Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and operational efficiency across all food and beverage outlets through strategic planning, collaboration, performance analysis, pricing, reservation management, and guest experience optimization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing strategies to optimize revenue across all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and catering services.
- Collaborating with the F&B Sales Manager and Events Team.
- Monitoring and analyzing revenue performance, comparing actuals to forecasts and budgets, and taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Creating promotional campaigns with the Sales and Marketing team to drive traffic and revenue.
- Ensuring pricing strategies for menu items and events align with market trends and business objectives.
- Maximizing profitability through effective management of menu pricing, special events, and packages.
- Overseeing daily operations of reservations for all F&B outlets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintaining and updating the reservation system for availability, guest preferences, and requests.
- Managing VIP guest reservations and special event bookings, ensuring personalized service and satisfaction.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences, especially during peak times and events.
- Monitoring reservation trends and guest flow to optimize staffing and seating arrangements.
- Leading, training, and developing the Reservations team to foster high performance and guest satisfaction.
- Preparing and analyzing reports on revenue, reservations, and market trends for actionable insights.
- Conducting revenue forecasting and budget reviews.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensuring professional guest interactions from booking to post-dining feedback.
- Resolving guest concerns related to reservations, dining, or billing promptly and effectively.
- Adjusting pricing, offerings, and policies based on market changes.
- Conducting market research to identify trends, competitors, and new revenue opportunities.
- Reviewing competitors’ offerings and strategies to maintain competitiveness.
- Troubleshooting system issues in liaison with IT.
Candidate requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certifications in Revenue Management, Hospitality, or Food & Beverage operations are a plus.
- Familiarity with reservation systems such as OPERA, Resy, OpenTable, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience:
- 3-5 years in a managerial role within F&B, reservations, or revenue management.
- Proven ability to optimize reservations, pricing, and capacity management.
- Experience with F&B systems, reservation platforms, and CRM tools.
- Strong analytical skills for revenue reports and guest data interpretation.
- Experience in high-end restaurant, hotel F&B, or banqueting preferred.
