• 2+ years of relevant experience in a laboratory assistant or similar role.
• General understanding and exposure to fragrance houses.

An Assistant Evaluator in Dubai - Could this be your future position?
Our senses step into gear from the moment we wake up in the morning until we turn in for the night. The consumer grooming and cleaning regimen intersects with Consumer Products (Personal Care, Home & Air Care, Fabric Care, Oral Care), Fine Fragrances (Perfumes & Luxury Scents), and Active Beauty products, with fragrance at the core of every experience. Givaudan's fragrance products are, more often than not, responsible for carrying you through the olfactive journey of your day.
Due to increasing Fine Fragrances business activity and to further build upon our continued success in the region, we are recruiting for an 'Assistant Evaluator' . You will be based in our Regional Creative Centre in Dubai and report to the Fine Fragrances Creative Fragrance Director for South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. You will assist the Evaluators in the labs.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for -
Administration:

Arrange market research samples for evaluation and maintain the samples library

Schedule meetings, take notes, prepare minutes for internal circulation, and follow up with the team to complete the assigned tasks.

Centralise the communication between different fragrance development centres internationally

Maintain the local fragrance development database

Coordinate internal fragrance-smelling sessions

Participate in continuous improvement projects
Team Coordination:

Maintain and manage the proactive collections inventory by overseeing stocks and anticipating needs

Manage and allocate development projects at the team level

Support and facilitate customer visits when needed
Lab coordination:

Anticipate and proactively coordinate with our Perfumery and Application Lab teams to maintain a reliable stock inventory of fragrance oils and raise procurement requests

Streamline the communication and work methodology between the fragrance development and lab teams

Rausee requests for fragrance application samples in the internal Givaudan system
Your professional profile includes -

2+ years of relevant experience in a laboratory assistant or similar role

Good knowledge and passion for the world of fragrances are a plus

team player and comfortable with cultural diversity.

General understanding and being exposed to fragrance houses.
