Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking an Assistant Electro-Mechanical Manager - Performance Lake to join the resort’s Performance Lake team. You will lead preventive maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, and support installation and commissioning of new equipment.

The role requires a diploma/degree in Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering with 7+ years in electromechanical maintenance, preferably in water features. Fluent English and CMMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance, preferably in water parks or performance lake settings.
• Minimum 4 years hands-on electro-mechanical experience in installation and maintenance in water parks or lake show features; contractor experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and control systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing complex technical equipment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by show schedules.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo) is a distinct advantage.

• Maintain grooming and hygiene standards as per company policies.
• Demonstrate empathy and proactive service when interacting with guests and colleagues.
• Lead safety inspections and ensure adherence to SOPs and emergency procedures.

About Wynn Al Marjan Island: Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Electro-Mechanical Manager - Performance Lake to join the resort’s Performance Lake team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to electrical and mechanical components.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
• Review and validate service records, job cards, and compliance documentation using CMMS platform.
• Any other related tasks required by Senior Management
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Respond promptly and professionally to performance lake and fountains equipment related complaints and breakdowns.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g. Hotel Operations) to ensure minimal disruption during service activities.
• Coordinate with show production teams to ensure technical readiness and support during events.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement system upgrades and improvements.
• Maintain grooming and hygiene standards as per WAMI policies, presenting a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Demonstrate empathy, service excellence, and a proactive attitude when interacting with guests or colleagues.
• Lead compliance initiatives including inspections and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and emergency response procedures.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

About You

• Diploma or degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance, preferably in a water park or performance lake setting.
• Must have a minimum of 4 years hands-on, proven working experience as electro-mechanical in installation and maintenance in water parks or lake show features. Install and maintenance contractor setting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, and control systems.
