The ideal candidate will hold a BSc degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience and possess skills in electronic document management systems and MS Office applications. This position is essential for maintaining accurate records and supporting project management efforts.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Document Controller will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all documents related to the project and organization, by managing a centralized document management system.

  • File documents in hardcopy and digital records
  • Effectively manage petty cash with a trackable account register for expenses and claims
  • Manage office stationery and pantry items
  • Follow processes and principles of the company's document lifecycle procedures
  • Archive, control, and retrieve records as needed
  • Keep records of project details, meeting minutes, technical specifications, drawings, etc.
  • Classify, sort, and categorize documents in alpha-numerical order
  • Maintain and seek approval for document confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
  • Review completeness, accuracy, and authenticity of documents
  • Perform quality checks on documents
  • Maintain and retrieve data in spreadsheets
  • Minimize risk impacts of losing documents and maximize project opportunities
  • Perform administrative duties and front office management
  • Check for accuracy and edit files, such as contracts
  • Manage the flow of documentation within the organization
  • Perform other duties/tasks as required by the Project Manager/Management and upon request from team members

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

BSc Degree with proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role

Hands-on experience in Electronic Document Management Systems and MS Office applications

Abu Dhabi resident is a must

2 to 3 years of experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
