About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Director Protective Security Services to join the resorts Security team.

The Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Are

• Lead operations with independent decision-making under high-pressure situations.
• Conduct benchmarking to identify and implement best practices.
• Ensure full compliance with local regulations and operational standards.
• Review current practices to identify and address operational gaps.
• Recommend and integrate new technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Develop and implement comprehensive operational policies and procedures.
• Set strategic goals and KPIs for the operations team.
• Design accurate and compliant operational forms using modern tools.
• Optimize manpower and equipment scheduling for peak performance.
• Prepare budget forecasts and submit purchase orders aligned with strategic plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with emergency services and regulatory bodies.
• Supervise armed, maritime, and K9 security teams to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Coordinate security operations during emergencies and critical incidents.
• Conduct risk assessments and field evaluations to ensure security effectiveness.
• Provide strategic security advisories and facilitate training and briefings.

• Proven leadership, management, and communication skills, with confidence in executive-level interactions.

• Effective public speaker and presenter with excellent verbal and written communication.

• Flexible with work schedules, including shift work, based on operational needs.
• Specialized knowledge in K9 operations, including behavior, training, deployment, and health management.
