An Assistant Director of Sales manages the hotel sales plans by recommending growth efforts, monitoring progress, and ensuring that the hotel is competitively positioned within the local marketplace.


What will I be doing?

As Assistant Director of Sales, you will work closely with the Senior Management Team to drive business needs and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. You will develop the sales team and groom high performers. Your responsibilities include:

  • Manage hotel sales and marketing plans to support business objectives and focus sales efforts across all market segments.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team to identify and support key business areas requiring attention.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives by recommending, implementing, and monitoring local activities.
  • Organize information about the hotel's products and services and deliver this through relevant sales channels to existing and potential guests.
  • Produce accurate, timely reports for hotel management.
  • Present monthly reports on the sales team's activities to hotel owners and senior management.
  • Work with Reservations and Banqueting Departments to enhance guest experience and develop comprehensive sales programs.
  • Participate in management meetings to develop sales and marketing strategies.
  • Prepare hotel contracts aligned with current business and pricing conditions.
  • Monitor offers, discounts, and options for repeat bookings in collaboration with the Group Coordinator.
