The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay, a newly opened cluster of hotels, is looking for an experienced Assistant Director of Salesto join their extraordinary team!

Conveniently located in the heart of Dubai’s Business Bay area, home of the Burj Khalifa! Minutes away from The Dubai mall, renowned Jumeirah Beach, and with convenient access to all of Dubai’s world leading tourist attractions. The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay include 275 hotel rooms as well as 120 one- and two-bedroom apartments, convenient F&B offerings & meeting and events facilities.

YOUR DAY TO DAY

The Assistant Director of Sales – Corporate is responsible for proactively managing and growing corporate account production across both FIT and Group segments. This role plays a critical part in driving Corporate & Group segment revenue, building long-term client relationships, and positioning Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay as the preferred destination for business travel, corporate events and extended stays.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Your skillset required for the job :

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans with the proactive team, targeting key corporate accounts and groups within assigned markets.
  • Actively prospect, qualify, and convert corporate business for both individual (FIT) and group segments.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections to maximize account penetration.
  • Monitor and evaluate account performance, booking trends, and market movements.
  • Produce monthly sales reports, forecasts, and account reviews to support leadership decisions.
  • Detailed knowledge of Corporate RFP process and competitor set.
  • Ensure personal and corporate segment annual budgets are achieved.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across top corporate accounts.
  • Represent the hotel at key industry events, trade shows and familiarization trips when required.
  • Assist the DOSM by attending internal meetings, conference calls, client appointments, and events in his absence.
  • Manage assigned corporate key accounts to maximize revenue, achieve personal targets and increase fair market share versus the competitor set.
  • Use SMART contracting to ensure optimum yield during annual rate negotiations.
  • Support the DOSM in preparing the annual budget by providing statistics, account production forecasts, and executing sales action plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue and Events teams to ensure optimal conversion and pricing.
  • Deliver an IHG client experience throughout the sales cycle and after conversion.
  • Resolve client concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications and experience :

  • Bachelor s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in business or related field.
  • Four or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with direct supervisory experience over a sales team.
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required.
  • Ability to work well with a diverse team.
