About Wynn Al Marjan Island

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Casino Credit to join the resort’s Casino Credit team.

The Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Are

  • Review and assess credit applications from domestic and international gaming guests, including financial statements, bank references, and credit bureau reports
  • Determine appropriate credit limits based on risk analysis, play history, and financial capacity
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of credit line approvals, denials, and modifications
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive guest financial data
  • Monitor guest credit activity and outstanding balances to ensure timely repayment and minimize exposure
  • Coordinate collection efforts with internal teams and external agencies when necessary
  • Oversee the reconciliation of credit accounts and ensure accurate reporting to Finance and Compliance
  • Support the resolution of disputes or discrepancies with professionalism and tact
  • Ensure full compliance with local gaming regulations, AML laws, and Wynn Resorts’ internal controls
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international financial documentation standards and cross-border credit practices
  • Assist in preparing for audits and regulatory reviews, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant
  • Implement and monitor internal safeguards to prevent fraud and financial misconduct
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for high-value guests seeking credit facilities
  • Collaborate with Casino Hosts, VIP Services, and Guest Relations to ensure a seamless and personalized experience for credit-approved players

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in casino credit operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, collections, and international financial documentation
  • Familiarity with gaming regulations, AML compliance, and internal audit procedures
  • Proficiency in casino credit systems (e.g., CMS, AS/400), financial software, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages such as Arabic, Mandarin, Russian, or Cantonese are highly desirable
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
