Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Assistant Design Manager in Abu Dhabi to support cross-disciplinary design coordination for major infrastructure projects. The role involves coordinating civil, structural, MEP, landscape disciplines and ensuring design outputs align with client requirements, standards, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams in infrastructure projects.
• Familiar with authority requirements and approvals processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between Civil, Structural, MEP, Landscape and other design disciplines to ensure integrated delivery.
• Support Senior Design Manager from concept to IFC stages.
• Track design submissions and review processes for compliance with program timelines.
• Log, address and close client and stakeholder comments promptly.
• Organize design coordination meetings, workshops and technical reviews.
• Assist in issuing RFIs and design clarifications.
• Collaborate with BIM teams to resolve clashes across disciplines.
• Ensure outputs meet regulatory requirements and project objectives.
• Maintain design documentation and information management records.
• Maintain understanding of civil infrastructure disciplines and utilities, roads, structures and land use projects.
