As the Assistant Credit Manager, your primary responsibility will be supporting the Credit Manager in various financial and credit activities. You will work closely with the Credit Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the credit department and provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
Key responsibilities:
Assist the Credit Manager in evaluating credit applications and making informed decisions on creditworthiness
Review and analyze credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documents to assess risk and make credit recommendations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit records in our database
Prepare credit reports and presentations for management
Monitor and manage credit limits and terms for both new and existing clients
Communicate with clients to resolve credit issues and provide support and guidance on credit-related matters
Collaborate with other teams, such as sales and collections, to ensure a timely and efficient credit process
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to credit management
Train and mentor junior credit analysts, as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis or related position
Strong understanding of credit processes, policies, and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and credit management software
