Job Description

  • Assist in the preparation of detailed monthly cost reports to identify variances and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records of food and beverage stock levels to minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to analyze menu profitability and recommend pricing adjustments.
  • Monitor daily food and beverage sales to ensure accurate reporting and identify trends that affect profitability.
  • Implement cost control measures by analyzing expenses and identifying areas for operational efficiency.
  • Support the development and maintenance of budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with overall financial goals.
  • Assist in training staff on cost control practices and the importance of accurate reporting.
  • Utilize software tools and spreadsheets to track and analyze cost data effectively.
  • Prepare and review purchase orders and supplier contracts to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Engage in cross-departmental communication to facilitate a comprehensive understanding of cost impacts in operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Management, providing a solid foundation in financial principles.
