Job Description

The Assistant Cost Controller will monitor and analyze operational costs, assist in preparing cost reports, and collaborate with various departments to maintain cost control standards. The role reports to the Cost Controller.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor daily costs of food, beverage, and inventory to ensure accuracy.
  2. Assist in preparing cost reports, budgets, and variance analyses.
  3. Conduct inventory audits to prevent wastage.
  4. Coordinate with purchasing and receiving teams for verification.
  5. Support month-end closing activities.
  6. Ensure compliance with hotel standards and financial regulations.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  2. 2-3 years of experience in cost control or finance, preferably in hospitality.
  3. Knowledge of inventory systems and financial reporting.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hotel financial systems.
  5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
