Job description

Our client, a prestigious firm based in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Assistant Company Secretary to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of corporate governance, legal frameworks, and experience working with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, or institutional client structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support and manage corporate governance requirements for client structures across the UAE and major offshore jurisdictions.
  2. Handle a portfolio of HNW and institutional clients with professionalism and discretion.
  3. Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
  4. Assist with trust and foundation management (where applicable).
  5. Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
  6. Provide legal and governance advice on relevant matters and corporate actions.
  7. Maintain and update statutory records and ensure timely filings.
Requirements:
  • Legally trained professional or qualified Company Secretary (e.g., CGI UK, ICSI, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a fiduciary or professional services firm.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law and governance in the UAE and offshore jurisdictions.
  • Experience managing HNW clients, family offices, or institutional clients is a plus.
  • STEP qualification and familiarity with trusts and foundations are strong advantages.
  • Prior work experience in the UAE or GCC is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach.
  • High integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
