Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Direct and assist Stewards to improve cleanup efficiency.
  2. Ensure water temperature and chemical levels are appropriate for cleaning and properly documented.
  3. Assist with Banquet plate-ups and support kitchen staff with various tasks.
  4. Provide necessary items to cooks and support banquet and buffet operations by transporting and maintaining stock levels.
  5. Return cleaned items to proper locations and operate/maintain cleaning equipment, including dishwashers, hand wash stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors.
Additional Duties
  1. Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  2. Follow all company, safety, and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications.
  3. Maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality; protect company assets.
  4. Provide excellent guest service by welcoming guests, anticipating needs, and communicating professionally.
  5. Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  6. Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, and working on uneven surfaces.
  7. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Work Experience: At least 2 years of related experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year.
  • License or Certification: None required.
