Work Locations

An Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for all maintenance issues within the hotel to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while performing daily checks, repairing equipment, and coordinating renovation projects.

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for all maintenance issues within the hotel, including daily maintenance checks, repairing mechanical equipment, and coordinating renovation projects. You will also develop emergency programs. Specifically, your tasks will include:

• Managing maintenance issues within the hotel
• Performing daily checks around the hotel
• Conducting lift emergency release procedures as required
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment
• Building good relationships with internal and external customers
• Maintaining hotel fixtures and fittings in safe condition and addressing unsafe situations
• Developing, implementing, and directing emergency programs
• Managing energy conservation programs to minimize expenses
• Coordinating renovation bidding, defining project scope and costs, and overseeing contractors to ensure quality work
• Performing special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
• Ensuring the health and safety of the hotel
• Conducting monthly safety inspections and employee training
